Students must pay five times the purchase value of the book for loss or damage of any book. However, in certain cases students may be allowed to replace the book by purchasing a new book.
Seminar Library for Each Department
In addition to the Central Library, there are departmental Seminar Libraries with sufficient number of texts and reference books. Students of Honours and General courses can borrow books from respective Seminar Libraries and have to return the same within the stipulated time, to the respective Departmental Teachers. Each departmental Seminar Library maintains an Issuing-Register to keep a record of the books issued.
