The college is committed to uphold the UGC Regulations on “Curbing the menace of Ragging in Higher educational Institutions 2009”.The college has established anti- ragging cell which governs the prevention of any means of ragging either within or outside the college. Ragging in all its forms is totally banned in this college. The college takes exclusive initiative to spread Anti- Ragging awareness amongst its students. The college prominently display posters detailing laws and punishment against ragging in the campus.  The college maintains scrupulous watch on complaints if lodged by students in any form.There have been no reported incidences of ragging at Budge Budge College till date of the establishment of the cell.

 It is the duty of this Committee to ensure compliance with the provisions of the rules and regulations laid by the UGC against ragging. All the students admitted to the college and their parents can contact the committee members regarding the guidelines and related information.
