The college is committed to uphold the UGC Regulations on “Curbing the menace of Ragging in Higher educational Institutions 2009”.The college has established an Anti- ragging Cell which governs the prevention of any means of ragging either within or outside the college. This committee is in the process of being refurbished since the Principal of the institution is currently suspended. Detailed information about the members of the newly formed Anti- ragging Cell will be published in the college website at the earliest.

Ragging in all its forms is totally banned in this college. The college maintains scrupulous watch on complaints if lodged by students in any form. However, no such allegations have been leveled against any member of the college in the last three academic sessions.

It is the duty of this Committee to ensure compliance with the provisions of the rules and regulations laid by the UGC against ragging. From the academic session commencing from July 2026, all students taking admission to Semester 1 as well as their parent/guardian have been provided with anti-ragging declarations. These documents have to be signed and duly attested by appropriate legal authority and submitted before commencement of classes. Moreover, all the students admitted to the college and their parents can contact the committee members regarding the guidelines and related information.
